FARGO - The Fargo Jet Center/Fargo Flight School, along with the Hector International Airport, will host the second annual Drive-In/Fly-In Outdoor Movie Night tonight.

The event is designed to provide exposure and generate interest in the local community for its airport and affiliated businesses.

The movie is "Amelia," a look at the life of American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world. It stars Hilary Swank, Richard Gere and Ewan McGregor.

It will be shown at the north general aviation ramp adjacent to the Fargo Jet Center's passenger facility.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m., with the movie starting after dusk.

There will also be a display of classic cars and aircraft. One of the featured aircraft is the first of 10 new Cessna Skycatcher light sport aircraft that has been delivered to the Fargo Jet Center.

Jet center officials say the Skycatchers are a perfect fit for flight training.

"The Skycatcher may be used for sport pilot or private pilot training," Mike Paulson, Fargo Flight School manager, said in a news release.
