FARGO - The park district will hold events for kids and teens next weekend.
An Awesome Art Afternoon is planned for children ages 3 to 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the RDJ Rec Center, 1104 2nd Ave. S. Attendees will have the opportunity to create one-of-a-kind art projects to take home. Adult supervision is required at this free event.
Also Saturday, a Teen Pool Party is planned from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Fargo South Indoor Pool. Teens can swim, dance and compete in contests for prizes. Free pizza and Pepsi products will be provided while supplies last. A middle school or high school ID is required.
Destination Anchor Island is planned from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Fargo South Indoor Pool. The event will feature music, games, contests and treats. Admission is $2 for swimmers.
