The Fargo Theatre 2009 Children's Summer Film Series, "Around the World in 90 Minutes," will feature international family films and begins Tuesday with the showing of India's "The Jungle Book" at the theater at 314 Broadway.
Other films in the series include:
- “Spirited Away” (Japan), July 14
- “Wallace & Gromit in the Curse of the Were-Rabbit” (United Kingdom), July 21
- Double feature “White Mane” and “The Red Balloon” (France), July 28.
Movie showings are at 1 and 5:30 p.m., and admission is $6 with a snack pack or $4 without concessions.
The 2009 Summer Classic Film Series, "Great On-Screen Couples Through the Decades," begins Aug. 10 with "Swing Time," starring Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers.
Other films in the series are:
- “The Philadelphia Story,” Aug. 11 (Katharine Hepburn and Cary Grant)
- “The Way We Were,” Aug. 13 (Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford).
Moving showings are at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Admission is $8 to $12 and series passes are available for $24 to $30.
