The theme of this year's Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County's annual fall fundraiser is "Remember the '60s? One Groovy Gala."
The event will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Hjemkomst Center in Moorhead.
Dr. Hiram Drache will be honored this year with the Clay County Heritage Award. Drache spent 37 years as a history professor at Concordia College, where he is now a historian-in-residence.
