FARGO - With the annual Fargo Downtown Street Fair under way, the Fargo-Moorhead Humane Society reminds dog owners to leave their pets at home.
Due to the high temperatures expected for the weekend, the resulting heat index and hot pavement can be a dangerous combination for a pets' health, the Humane Society stated in a news release.
The Humane Society recommends leaving pets at home where there's plenty of shade and fresh water while you are out at the Street Fair.
