PARK RAPIDS, Minn. - The West Central Initiative has established a fund to honor the memory of Dee (Hilde) Johnson by awarding grants to programs, projects or organizations that improve the local quality of life through music in Park Rapids, Ulen or Hitterdal.
Johnson was the matriarch of four generations of musical entertainers at Jasper's Jubilee Theater in Park Rapids. She died from cancer in 2005.
