FARGO - Rock group Creed returns to Fargo a decade after its last local performance.

The group plays a 21-and-older, 8 p.m. show at The Venue on Aug. 18.

After dominating the hard rock charts in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with hits like "Higher," "With Arms Wide Open" and "My Sacrifice," the quartet split in 2004. The group reformed in 2009, releasing its fourth disc, "Full Circle." The group has been writing material for a new album.
