FARGO - The daughter of a country music legend and a veteran of rock radio will play concerts in Fargo this fall, a promoter said in a Wednesday news release.
Roseanne Cash plays at 8 p.m. on Nov. 19 at the Fargo Theatre at 314 Broadway, according to the Jade Presents release.
Puddle of Mudd is set for a 7 p.m. show on Nov. 26 at The Hub at 2525 9th Ave. S.
Coincidentally, both acts' most recent releases were cover albums. Cash in 2009 released "The List," which pulls 12 songs from a list of 100 the singer-songwriter's late father, Johnny Cash, gave her in her youth as a country-music education.
Puddle of Mudd released "Re:(disc)overed" in late August, an 11-track album of classics from the likes of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and The Rolling Stones.
