WEST FARGO - The Red River Valley Fair will hold separate contests involving Legos and pasta during next month's fair.
The Dakota Growers Pasta Contest is at 2 p.m. July 14 in Harvest Hall.
Entries will be judged on taste, appeal, appearance, originality of recipe and ease of preparation, a news release stated.
Management staff from Carino's will be the judges.
The Lego building contest for youth ages 3 through 14 is at 3 p.m. July 15.

Each entrant will have 30 minutes to create their individual project, a release stated. Preregistration is required. Awards will be based on creativity and originality.
