Portrait Innovations, a Charlotte, N.C.-based portrait photography studio, is opening a store at 1895 45th St. S. in Fargo.
The studio is planned to open May 27, said Barry Wilson, a partner with Planet Central, an advertising agency for Portrait Innovations.
Portrait Innovations integrates professional portrait photography techniques with on-site portrait production equipment, the company Web site says.
Photographers use professional lighting and hand-held digital cameras so they are free to move and interact with children and adults being photographed. Portraits are printed immediately on site.
Boutique moving to downtown Fargo

VAVA Boutique is relocating to downtown Fargo.
Sherry and Remy Bosh of Fargo opened VAVA Boutique at 1301 5th St. S. in Fargo on June 20.
The boutique sells jewelry and clothing that Sherry Bosh creates called Cheryl Lee Creations.
Plans are to relocate the business to 12 Broadway, the former Prairie Staffing space, by May 1.
The store will be renamed VAVA on Broadway.
Prairie Staffing moving to south Fargo
Prairie Staffing has moved from 12 Broadway to the Jeffries Office Park at 1323 23rd St. S. Suite C in Fargo.
The staffing business, which has been downtown in two different locations over the past six to eight years, moved this week and opened the new office April 1.

"We were looking for a little more space," said Gordon Christensen, who handles placement and marketing for the business.
Prairie Staffing generally works in placement for manufacturing, warehousing, construction and labor-type jobs. Prairie Staffing is also looking for new businesses to help with employment, Christensen said.
Teeth Whitening kiosk open in Moorhead mall
Da Vinci Teeth Whitening has opened a kiosk in the Moorhead Center Mall.
The teeth whitening kiosk, which opened March 22, is located in the hallway outside Herberger's.
Blaine Branden of Sabin, Minn., owns the business.
"It's a great, new fad," Branden said.
Kristi Ulrich, the mall's general manager, said she is very excited about the new business. She also said she would like to see more kiosks open in the mall.
