Trollwood sets auditions for main stage musical

The Trollwood Performing Arts School has scheduled auditions for high school students in grades eight through 12 for cast and orchestra participation for its annual summer main stage musical, "Anything Goes," a tap dancing musical comedy featuring Cole Porter melodies.

There are nearly 50 cast roles and more than 30 orchestra positions available. Participation dates are June 3 through Aug. 6, with public performances slated July 14 through Aug. 1.

Orchestra auditions will be in the orchestra room at Fargo North High School from 4:15 to 6 p.m. May 4, 4:10 to 5 p.m. May 5, 4:15 to 6 p.m. May 6 and May 7, and 2 to 4 p.m. May 9.

Cast auditions will be at Trollwood's campus, 801 50th Ave. S., Moorhead. from 2 to 4 p.m., 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. or 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. May 15, and from 1 to 3 p.m., 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. or 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 16.

Students must schedule a specific audition time for either orchestra or cast participation. Students unable to attend the scheduled audition sessions may audition through video (cast only), audio tape or CD (orchestra only).
