Apparently North Dakota has a son in the "Twilight" movies.

Kellan Lutz, a Dickinson, N.D., native played Emmett Cullen in last year's film based on the very popular vampire books. He'll reprise the role of the vampire in next month's film "The Twilight Saga: New Moon," which premieres in theaters Nov. 20.

Lutz, who was born in Dickinson but grew up in Arizona, will be appearing in a photo spread in SELF Magazine set to hit newsstands Tuesday, a publicist for SELF said Wednesday.

He'll appear in the magazine along with co-stars Rachelle Lefevre and Ashley Greene.

Lutz was also interviewed by the magazine and said his personal style isn't the same as Emmett's.

"... He's very athletic. So he likes wearing sporty stuff, stuff that maybe shows off his muscles, or you know, stuff that's not too stiff. So that he could go eat a bear if he wanted to," Lutz said. "My style is pretty comfy. I mean, I just love jeans and boots, a nice little - Henley shirts, which is great. Just simple, thrown together. I mean layers are fun when its cold out, but when its not - I'm not into shorts too much. ..."

Next week's spot in SELF marks a growing number of magazine appearances for Lutz, from OK! Magazine to August Man Magazine. He's also appeared in several movies, such as "Stick It" and "Prom Night," and has a recurring character in the "90210" TV show.

Earlier this year Lutz was supposed to make an appearance at the Mott Tractor Fest, in Mott, N.D., in late August but canceled and caused a stir from the community's "Twilight" fans who were eager for his arrival.
