North Dakota native Gwen Sebastian landed a slot on country star Blake Shelton's team during Monday night's episode of the NBC vocal competition "The Voice."
The country-styled native of Hebron was actually courted by three of the four celebrity judges, giving her the opportunity to chose WHICH team she would be part of. Sebastian turned down offers by R&B star Cee Lo Green and POP rocker Adam Levine, opting to join Shelton's team.
"My heart is country," she said. "Blake I would be honored to be on your team."
Pop singer Christina Aguilera was the only judge on the show not to extend an invitation to Sebastian.
