Sunday

Authors Christine Stark and Olga Trujillo have tackled sexual abuse and violence against women in different ways. Stark released the first comprehensive study on the prostitution and trafficking of American Indian women in Minnesota, then penned a novel-length prose poem about Little Miss So-and-So, a mixed-race girl who is abused as a child before embracing her identity as an adult. Trujilo's memoir, "The Sum of my Parts," details her own abuse and how she took control of her own life. The women read from their works at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zandbroz Variety, 420 Broadway, Fargo. At 3 p.m. the discussion moves to Babb's Coffee Shop, 604 Main Ave., Fargo. Both events are free. (701) 200-1949.
