Few bands are as aptly named as Gaslight Anthem. The New Jersey rockers fuel their sing-along choruses with bits of nostalgia and a fiery, punk intensity. The group's approach has lulled many lazy journalists into easy Bruce Springsteen comparisons, but the group's latest hymn, "American Slang," proves the band is its own boss. The quartet's five-year-long cycle of touring and recording brings it to The Venue at The Hub, 2525 9th Ave. S., Fargo, on Sunday night with The Menzingers and Fake Problems opening at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the all-ages show are $18 in advance or $20 on Sunday.
