Children's author Kyle Mewburn is having a book tour to remember. The New Zealander's first trip to America features a three-week tour of North Dakota libraries for readings and book signings. Mewburn pulls into the Fargo Public Library - Carlson Branch, 2801 32nd Ave. S., at 6:30 tonight to read from preschool to first-grade books like "Kiss! Kiss! Yuck! Yuck!" and "Scruffy Cat." The event is free and open to everyone, though hopefully the ghastly guests of honor at the Zombie Party for Teens, at Carlson from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., aren't still shuffling around. (701) 241-1495.
