Less than a year after they ripped into both Barack Obama and John McCain (figuratively and literally) the night before the presidential election, those intergalactic gory goons of heavy metal, GWAR, return to The Venue at The Hub, 2525 9th Ave. S., Fargo on Saturday. This time they bring some extra firepower with headliners Lamb of God (pictured at right). The bands have some things in common, like both playing punishing and pounding metal riffs and both getting their start at Virginia Commonwealth University, apparently the school of hard rock.
