Over the past three albums, the Duluth-based band Low has emerged sonically from the descriptive label "slowcore" but maintained the real defining characteristic that made the band an alt-rock staple on the national scene - the chilling harmonies of husband and wife Alan Sparhawk and Mimi Parker. The couple brings its subtle, sweet sounds to The Aquarium, 226 Broadway, Fargo, for two sets Friday night, starting at 9 p.m. (Doors open at 8:15.) Tickets are $15 for the ID-only show.
