Comments: "This photo was taken near the start of Bright Angel Trail. The goal was to hike down 6 miles to the end of the trial so we could see the magnificent Colorado River and the sight did NOT disappoint. So glad that we went all the way down. Sign along the path read 'Going down is optional but going back up is NOT'. The weather could not have been more perfect with cloud cover most of the day and temperatures below average made the hike doable."
