BEMIDJI, Minn. - Lake Region Bone and Joint Surgeons here has merged with Sanford Health.

According to Kevin Lampe, vice president for Sanford National Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, the merger represents a major leap forward for establishing Bemidji as a center of excellence in orthopedics and sports medicine.

LRBJ has been providing orthopedic services in the Bemidji region since 1988, and the staff includes nine employees and three orthopedic surgeons including Drs. Thomas Miller, Terrance Johnson and Jason Caron.

LRBJ will now operate under the name Sanford Bemidji Orthopedics Clinic.
