Spitfire is not only one of the best places to get ribs, but it’s also a great place to find a wide variety of other sweet and savory dishes, all homemade and fresh. From pesto pasta with tender and smoky spit-roasted chicken to its wood-fired burgers and fish, it all pairs phenomenally with the restaurant’s cozy atmosphere and wood-fired aroma that permeates the air.
The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients and never unfreezes or microwaves items before they’re served. General manager Gordy Ferkul said it’s one of the things that makes the restaurant stand out.
“Our food is made once we receive the order, as fresh as possible,” Ferkul said.

Spitfire also stands out because of its commitment to supporting our community. It brings its “food with attitude” to teachers and athletes at NDSU and West Fargo Public Schools. It also helps feed those at the West Fargo VA.
