FARGO -- Border Bank has announced plans to merge with Union State Bank in Fargo. The deal is expected to be complete Monday, Nov. 7.
The bank, headquartered in Greenbush, Minn., also has locations in Thief River Falls, Badger, Middle River, Baudette, International Falls, Roseau, Clearbook and Coon Rapids in Minnesota.
“We welcome all Union State Bank customers and the residents of the Fargo/Moorhead region to the Border Bank family. Our customers should be rest assured the transition will be seamless and they will continue to receive the exceptional, personalized service they expect and value,” said David L. Felch, Border Bank CEO and Union State Bank CEO/President.
According to its website, Union State Bank first opened in 1973 in the West Acres Shopping Center.
