New Life Center Thrift Store to host Stuff the Truck

FARGO — The New Life Center Thrift Store along with Life 97.9, the Fargo-Moorhead Association of Realtors and First Lutheran Church is hosting Stuff the Truck to help start Cleanup Week and encourage community members to donate items to the thrift store.

The truck will be parked from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Luther Family Ford, 3302 36th St. S. Accepted items include sporting goods, clothing for all ages, books, toys, decorating items, jewelry, crafts, games and other usable items.

The Salvation Army will be collecting used coats, and Team Boaz will be collecting gently used bicycles that will be refurbished and given to new Americans.

Weekly devotionals by the Baha'is of Fargo-Moorhead

FARGO — The Baha'is of Fargo-Moorhead are hosting weekly devotional and study sessions at 9:30 a.m. Sundays at the home of Marian Kadrie, 1726 14th St. S., Fargo. The event is free and open to all ages.

The topic on Sunday, May 5, will be "The Kingdom in the Bible." On Sunday, May 12, the topic will be "Jesus Christ, Herald of the Kingdom."
