FARGO — The spring sun is shining and the outdoor community is coming alive. The Fargo Park District's annual Kids to Parks Day is back for another year — with a twist. Instead of kids going to the parks, they're bringing the parks to the kids!

Kids to Parks Day is now a grab-and-go event, with take-home activities and fun for the whole family. This no-contact pickup event will be held from 10-11 a.m. Saturday, May 16 at Rheault Farm, 2902 25th St. S., and Island Park, 302 Seventh St. S.

Each of these locations will feature activities for families to take with them to their homes or a park of their choice, and pickup locations are designed with social distancing practices in mind. Every effort will be taken to limit contact points and ensure safety of both distributors and those picking up the activities. Pickup zones will be marked by Fargo Park District signs and flags.

Kids to Parks Day is free and open to the community. For more information, visit FargoParks.com or call 701-499-6060.
