FARGO — RE/MAX Legacy and Designer Homes in Fargo are donating $30,000 dollars to Sanford Children’s Hospital.
The money was raised at the RE/MAX Legacy Golf tournament held in July and will help fund research, medical equipment and health education at Sanford.
The president of RE/MAX Legacy Realty, Robert Leslie, said this is the fourth year the two companies have held the fundraiser. Altogether, RE/MAX Legacy and Designer Homes have raised $110,000 to give to Sanford Hospital in the four years that they have held the fundraiser.
"The hospital is very dear to us, what they do for our community and for the kids is very important to us," Leslie said. "(We) wanted to get involved and we started about four years ago and it's been a great thing."
