FARGO — The Chabad Jewish Center of North Dakota will light a public Hanukkah menorah in Fargo at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4, at the Fargo Civic Center, 207 Fourth St. N.

This annual event is organized by Chabad-Lubavitch Rabbi Yonah Grossman and will feature Fargo Mayor Tim Mahoney. Following the menorah lighting ceremony, everyone is invited to enjoy live music and holiday treats, as well as arts and crafts.

The menorah lighting is part of the worldwide Hanukkah campaign, which highlights the central theme of the holiday — publicizing the story of the Hanukkah miracle.

This event is free and open to the public.
