ATLANTA - A Fargo doctor was one of 11 chosen to receive the American Cancer Society's national prize for cancer care giving, the organization announced Friday.
Dr. Shelby A. Terstriep, an oncologist and medical director of Sanford Health Roger Maris Cancer Center, has demonstrated excellence in care giving through her work, clinical outreach and as a role model for her colleagues, the society said.
Terstriep is a recipient of the Lane W. Adams Quality of Life Award, which will be presented May 12 in Atlanta.
