FARGO — Urban Foods Catering is busy taking orders from families wanting a little beef tenderloin and the fixings for their Christmas meal.

On Christmas Eve, Urban Foods will be feeding over 450 people in need as part of the Joy Project. Because of the pandemic, no volunteers could cook for the group, so the catering company stepped up.

For those buying meals for their own families at Christmas, Urban Foods also plans on donating meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House.

"You are feeding a family a fabulous dinner, and giving back at the same time. The Ronald McDonald House has been great to work with, they have not been allowed to have volunteers come in because of covid, so this is a win-win for us," said Urban Foods Director of Sales and Events Lisa Brasgalla.
