FARGO - The Fargo-Moorhead Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Group hosts its fifth annual Pancreatic Cancer Vigil and Walk on Thursday, Nov. 15, in downtown Fargo.
Event registration and a silent auction begin at 5:30 p.m. at First Lutheran Church, 619 Broadway N. A short program honoring loved ones who have battled pancreatic cancer will be followed by "The Purple Walk" up Broadway.
The event aims to raise awareness of pancreatic cancer. Donations raised will help fund patient support programs at Sanford Health's Roger Maris Cancer Center and gas cards for pancreatic cancer patients.
This event is free and open to the public. For more information, follow the Fargo-Moorhead Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Group on Facebook.
