FARGO — Local mayors met at Essentia Health's South University Clinic on Thursday, March 5, to make a proclamation for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Moorhead Mayor Johnathan Judd and West Fargo Mayor Bernie Dardis shared personal stories promoting screening for this preventable form of cancer.

It's the second leading cause of cancer deaths for men and women in the United States.
