FARGO — David Boelke helped start Harvest Security Solutions and has been picking up medicine from local pharmacies and delivering them to those who need it for the past year and a half.
With coronavirus concerns sweeping across the region, Boelke has taken measures like sanitizing and non-contact delivery to limit exposure to people.
Boelke, a former Fargo police officer, said his background inspired him to help out in his own way during times of need.
"I think that our service is here for our whole community," she said. "We've certainly received enough from the community, and it's our chance to give back."
During the statewide school closures in North Dakota and Minnesota, Boelke has also hired a few high school seniors to help out.
As of now, Boelke and his team deliver to Fargo, West Fargo and Moorhead, but he said he'd like to expand to other communities.
