FARGO — Students at Davies High School are raising awareness of mental health issues with a week full of activities until Friday, Jan. 18.
Each day is something new. Students can take part by wearing colored ribbon pins to increase awareness. They're also being encouraged to meet and sit by someone new at lunchtime.
One of the big activities was called "the Worry Jar". Kids could write down their stresses on slips of paper on the last day, they'll be shredded.
Organizers say even though the event is just one week, they hope it'll be eye opening.
