FARGO - I have a lot of jewelry for someone who doesn't wear much jewelry. I keep most of it in a jewelry box, but I put the prettier necklaces on display with a jewelry stand I bought at Target. Problem is, some of my necklaces are too long for either the box or the stand.

I needed a way to store or display them without pooling or tangling.

I bought a set of four round-backed stainless-steel wall hooks and pressed them onto the side of my dresser toward the top. The sticky backs made them easy to attach, no holes required. Any other kind of hook, such as plastic Command hooks, would work, too.

Next I carefully strung my long necklaces on the hooks, two or three to a hook. Now when I do feel like wearing jewelry, I can easily find my long necklaces in one place where they're visible and won't tangle.
