FARGO — Lake Agassiz Habitat for Humanity is seeking riders for its 16th annual Tour de Habitat Stationary Bike Race beginning at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Family Wellness, 2960 Seter Parkway.
The bike race brings together teams from businesses, friend groups, networking groups and local colleges to raise money to help build simple, decent and affordable housing in Cass and Clay counties. Each team consists of six cyclists with each member pedaling for a 10-minute interval. Teams are encouraged to raise funds for the organization and awareness for the need of safe, affordable housing in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Tour de Habitat is open to everyone who wishes to create a team and participate in the event or those who simply want to donate to the vision of eradicating poverty housing in Cass and Clay counties.
