FARGO — A nationwide lawn care service company has brought its contact-free services to Fargo.

GreenPal, originally started in Nashville, Tenn., in 2012, is a website and phone app that allows homeowners to request services such as mowing and snow removal from the safety of their home. Certified vendors in the area then present the customer with bids virtually. Once the job is done, the vendor will submit a photo of the job done, and then the homeowner will pay them virtually.

While the company wasn't specifically designed for social distancing, Co-Founder Gene Caballero says their contact-free setup have proven to be beneficial in the past few months.
