Nationally known economist Stephen Moore to speak at two Fargo events

FARGO - A nationally known economic analyst credited with helping to shape President Donald Trump's tax reform ideas will speak at two different events here next week.

Stephen Moore, a previous president of the Club for Growth and past member of the Wall Street Journal editorial board, is a Distinguished Visiting Fellow with The Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank based in Washington, D.C.

He'll deliver the keynote address Tuesday, Feb. 20, when the Fargo Moorhead West Fargo Chamber hosts its annual Economic Outlook Forum. That event is scheduled for noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Fargo, 1635 42nd St. S.

Moore will also deliver another presentation, "How Free Enterprise Can Restore American Prosperity," later that afternoon on the North Dakota State University campus.

He'll speak at NDUS's Barry Hall AgCountry Auditorium, 811 2nd Ave. N., at 4 p.m. Tuesday as part of the Capitalism and Society Lecture Series hosted by the NDSU Center for the Study of Public Choice and Private Enterprise.
