MOORHEAD — In collaboration with Nissan, the American Public Power Association will be offering rebates to public power communities on the 2019 Nissan LEAF .
Moorhead Public Service customers and employees are eligible for a $3,500 rebate when purchasing the standard edition of the 2019 LEAF and $2,500 for the ePlus edition. The offer ends March 31.
Additionally, customers can also get up to $7,500 in federal electric vehicle tax credits.
To claim the rebate, go to PublicPower.org/EVrebates and print the rebate flyer. Bring the flyer, proof of eligible residency and your current electric bill, employee ID or letter on letterhead if you work for Moorhead Public Service to your local dealer.
