A 2017 West Fargo High School graduate recently completed U.S. Air Force National Guard basic training.

Christopher Cornette completed the intensive, eight-week program in Texas. Airmen who complete the training also earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree, according to a press release.

Cornette earned distinction as an honor graduate. He is the son of Danielle Rinehart and Jonathan Cornette of West Fargo.

A Fargo student has earned "With Distinction" honors from North Dakota State University (NDSU).

Claire Steinberg will enroll at NDSU next fall with recognition as an honor student.

She is the daughter of Keith and Janelle Steinberg, Fargo.
