FARGO — Families are invited to a fun-filled event downtown on April 22 called Family Affair @ the Square.
The free event will be held at Broadway Square from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. weather permitting.
Attendees can enjoy family-friendly games and activities, have a chance to win prizes and more. Registration is not required.
The event is being hosted by Prevent Child Abuse North Dakota (PCAND) and Department of Health and Human Services as well as sponsored by Fargo Cass Public Health, NDSU Extension, and Red River Children's Advocacy Center.
PCAND is a nonprofit organization working to strengthen families and prevent child abuse and neglect.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month . PCAND is also hosting “Stepping Up for Children” at Bonanzaville in West Fargo on April 29. The event begins at 1 p.m. and will feature a one-mile long honor walk, face painting, crafts, a bouncy house, and other kid-friendly activities.
