Moorhead moms start community supply drive

A group of moms is trying to help kids get everything they need while they're stuck at home.

MOORHEAD — After seeing how the community came together to help Moorhead Area Public Schools provide meals for students during the COVID-19 outbreak, three moms decided to step up.

They created the Moorhead Community Supply Drive, asking for basic hygiene items, games and puzzles. The list of items is available at Facebook.com/MoorheadSupplyDrive .

The list of items needed is available through online registries at Amazon and Target. They ask that you have the new items shipped directly to Probstfield Center for Education to avoid unnecessary contact with people.

The items will be put on the community buses delivering food to students. Deliveries will also be made to the district's day care they set up for emergency workers and West Central Juvenile Center.
