This month, the NDSU Extension office is offering parents the opportunity to participate in a popular parenting course for free online.

"Parenting the Love and Logic Way" will be offered Mondays and Thursdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

The first session is June 6, and registration is required .

The philosophy behind the parenting approach involves allowing children to grow through mistakes while also living with the consequences of their decisions, according to the company's website . The approach aims to equip parents and caregivers with skills to remain calm, avoid arguments and power-struggles, and establish enforceable limits.
