FARGO — With nearly 200 food and craft vendors at the Downtown Fargo Street Fair, there's something for everyone — even the dogs.
Over 100,000 people are expected to attend the fair between Thursday, July 18, and Saturday; and with all those people come plenty of dogs.
Humans at the fair have dozens of ways to cool off, like lemonade stands and smoothies, but pets usually don't. That's the inspiration behind this year's puppy pit stop.
At the puppy pit stip, dogs can take a bath in a baby pool, grab a drink of distilled water, and even get a treat.
James Swailes with pit stop sponsor Sparklight said it was a hit on day one.
The company will also be giving out portable water dishes to dog owners throughout the fair.
