Apple Cider is an 8-year-old cat in foster care through the Homeward Animal Shelter in Fargo. Once a month, she requires a shot due to arthritis.

Diane Clark is fostering Apple Cider and said she was shy at first, but warmed up quickly. She is a small cat, only about 6 pounds.

“She’s a very sweet, gentle, affectionate little cat,” Clark said. “Once she decides you’re her buddy, she will follow you everywhere.”
