HAWLEY, Minn. - A prescription drug drop-off and disposal program will be held here April 30.

Partnering with the Clay County Sheriff's Office, the Hawley Police Department will take any controlled or noncontrolled drugs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Police Department lobby, Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said in a news release.

Pills can be deposited directly into the disposal box, but liquid products should remain in original containers. Neither intravenous solutions nor sy­ringes will be accepted.
