WAUBUN, Minn. - Square dancers and spectators from North Dakota and Minnesota attended the annual Northwest Region Square Dance for Heart benefit on March 27 here that raised $2,969 for the American Heart Association.
Callers and cuers for the event were Roger and Bernadette McNeil, Fargo; Jim and Rita Lizakowski, Moorhead; and Jim Jirak, Breckenridge, Minn.
Cash donations were made by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Lakeside Lodge, Detroit Lakes, Minn., and the GFWC Library Club of Mahnomen, Minn. Additional donations were made by businesses across the region and the Square Dance Federation of Minnesota.
