FARGO — Allegiant Air announced Thursday, Feb. 11, it will begin offering a new, nonstop route from Fargo's Hector International Airport to Florida's St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport.
St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport is located along Florida's western coast and services the Tampa Bay area. The new route will operate two times per week, with flight times and booking available at Allegiant.com.
Through Sunday, Feb. 14, Allegiant is offering one-way fares on the route for $83 for travel through Friday, April, 16.
"Our travelers are pleased to see our long-standing Allegiant Air partnership flourish with the return of non-stop service to St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport," Hector International's executive director Shawn Dobberstein said via news release. "The warm weather destination is a hit for regional travelers escaping the cold to world-class beaches and quality hotel and dining accommodations."
Allegiant offers year-round travel from Fargo to Arizona's Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport and Las Vegas's McCarran International Airport. The budget airline also offers seasonal routes to Atlanta, Los Angeles, Nashville, Orlando-Sanford and Phoenix-Sky Harbor.
According to Hector International's website, the newly-announced Fargo to St. Petersburg route will also operate seasonally.
