FARGO - Gone are the days of the pumpkin spice latte. 'Tis the season of the peppermint mocha.

Bring on the minty martinis, eggnogs, hot toddies and punches.

Add a little extra flavor and crunch to your wintry drinks with these edible stir sticks:

• Candy canes. The straight ones melt quickly into cocoa, and the little ones hang nicely on the side of a martini glass.

• Pirouttes. Pepperidge Farm's wafer cookies come in three flavors - Chocolate Fudge, Chocolate Hazelnut and French Vanilla. The French Vanilla pairs well with chai.
