FARGO - The Fargo Department of Veterans Affairs Health Care System will host a 2K "walk and roll" event at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to coincide with National Employee Health and Fitness Day.
The event will be held at the VA facility at 2101 Elm St. near the picnic shelter in the south parking lot. In the event of inclement weather, the 2K will be held inside the medical center.
Voluntary Services will inform participants of the VA's willingness to accept gifts and Fargo's need for in-kind gifts to be used to carry out existing VA programs for homeless veterans. However, there is no requirement for a donation in order to participate and pre-registration is not required.
