FARGO - The Fargo Veterans Affairs Health Care System today will celebrate the opening of a new suite featuring audiology as well as eye, ear, nose and throat medicine.
The new suite allows the Fargo VA to increase the number of sound booths, exam, intake and procedure rooms. New rooms also have been added for laser procedures, among other services.
Added staffing includes a new full-time optometrist, a full-time residency position, and an otolaryngologist, or ear, nose and throat specialist. The services of a local retinal specialist also will be available.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the new suite is set for 9 a.m. at the Fargo VA Medical Center, 2101 Elm St. N.
