OSAGE, Minn. - The Center for Weight Management, a cooperative venture between St. Joseph's Area Health Services and Innovis Health, Park Rapids, will sponsor a "Walk From Obesity" at 2 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Smokey Hills Wilderness Retreat and Conference Center here.
The walk will be held in conjunction with the annual "Weekend in the Pines" Weight Management fall retreat.
Funds raised will support American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Foundation and the Obesity Action Coalition research, awareness and educational resources.
